Mazda used to be about 33% owned by Ford Motor Company and this was the controlling stake in the company. In this era of ownership you could drive a Mazda onto a Ford Motor Company parking lot. Then when they sold their stake to free up cash in the Great Recession they banished Mazda’s from the Ford parking lots. So you have to park miles away in some cases if you had one of these vehicles.

One theory we have is that this driver may have had at one point a 2009 Saab Aero.
