   • In another context, “Slim Jim” is also the name of a tool used for unlocking car doors without the original key. It’s a thin, flat strip of metal that can be inserted between the window and the weather stripping to manipulate the internal mechanisms of the door lock. It’s worth noting that the use of Slim Jims for car door unlocking has become less common due to advancements in car security systems, and modern locksmiths use more sophisticated tools.
