ITS ATM

We are wondering if this is an old old dad joke where the dad says to their child “What am I do you an ATM?” in response to their bum of a child asking for money in exchange for doing nothing. Now in the 2020’s this may need to be updated to “What am I am to you a Venmo?” but it isn’t as flashy on a vanity license plate.
