Michigan’s Busted Bridge M-39 SB to I-96

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Tweeted today this horrifying photograph as the reason for closing the bridge of South Bound M-39 and East Bound Interstate 96.

No word how many wheels, and tires were lost to this massive fear instilling hole. Detroit News reported that the last MDOT survey of the bridge listed it in “fair” condition.

So with busted infrastructure like these bridges, it isn’t a wonder for locals why you see so many people driving busted rides. With bridges and roads in this bad of shape you seriously can’t have nice things in the State of Michigan.
