Ford Explorer

This Busted Ford Explorer rear window trim isn’t as much busted as it is a little lesson.  For whatever reason designers of this particular year Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer used a plastic trim piece.

These are often seen without trim pieces, or most likely a large crack that can be seen going through the Blue Oval emblem. Often they are difficult to find used, because well they are all broken. When you can find them, they are often very pricey, and like this driver found out, the wrong color as well.
